Leftover corn on the cob? We are having corn fritters today for lunch.
I have had all the corn removal gadgets and i still feel this is the best and neatest way to get corn off the cob. The fritters were delishes, we had the with maple syrup but you could also do some salsa and sour cream.

Appledore Pudding

As always great articles but this one was really intriguing. Appledore Interlude by Paula Marcoux. Tells the history of this small island off the coast of New Hampshire and the present day use by Shoals Marine Lab. This trip was a meal using what was found on this mainly rock island and they did not disappoint. Very Creative. I decided to make the dessert because it looked interesting and it was. Appledore pudding. This pudding has cake,
blueberries, sherry, and meringue . Go to the magazine if you feel the urge to make this delicious dessert and read the other great articles.
