Local Dining

One of the first warm evenings of the year means a trip somewhere for seafood on the water. Usually this trip would be to the Bayside in Westport but I am getting older and that is too far to drive just for Dinner. So we decided on the Mill Wharf in Scituate. We were lucky and able to be seated right away and outside! Nice breeze and beautiful view. Joe had a Large and delicious fried seafood platter and I a fresh (Scituate) lobster roll. The lobster roll was delicious, the mayo and celery were light so the lobster flavor shined through. Served on the traditional buttered and grilled New England style hot dog roll. Our waitress kaley was very good and even made me off menu suggestions on how to have my lobster.As we were leaving we ran into a friend we hadn’t seen for a while and had a quick talk.  A beautiful start to warm summer nights.
